Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona (BCBSAZ) is committed to helping Arizonans get healthier faster and stay healthier longer. With a focus on connecting people with the care they need, BCBSAZ offers health insurance and related services to nearly 1.5 million customers. The company employs more than 2,000 people in its Phoenix, Chandler, Flagstaff, and Tucson offices.
The Giving Spirit
The new normal, which prioritizes a work from home business model, has impacted many companies in unique ways. Without the availability to meet in person, companies have moved to more creative forms of messaging and contact methods. BCBSAZ needed a way to support their clients and employees during these times and, with the help of Prisma’s experts, were able to do just that by way of kitted sets. Over a few months’ time, three unique kits were sourced, printed, and fulfilled by the Prisma team.
Packed With Care
The initial kit created was sent to all of BCBSAZ’s current employees and featured two reusable masks and a fact sheet letter to help remind recipients of signs and symptoms of COVID-19. A micro-site was soon set up by Prisma’s dokshop team allowing employees to order more masks on demand for family and friends, providing a quick solution to a growing need.
Soon after the first kit was delivered, businesses started to reopen and BCBSAZ needed another piece, this time for their clients. With quick turn times and precise pieces, they knew Prisma’s fulfillment team was the right group for the job. The “return to work” kit featured items such as a thermometer gun, playbook, disclaimer card, mask, and stickers, all picked and packed identically, ensuring nothing would be missed.
BCBSAZ felt this new form of communication worked perfectly for their current business model and with such success on the first two boxes, decided a third project would have a beneficial impact on their quarterly Town Hall.
