Carvana has quickly become a leader in the car retailer world, which is why Prisma was thrilled to wrap a fleet of vehicles and other assets for this unique brand. Driving Home the Details
The Carvana team asked Prisma to wrap five vehicles for a new campaign launching with American Racecar Driver, Jimmie Johnson. They needed a marketing solutions provider to kick off the branding for this campaign, and Prisma was excited to take the wheel and drive them to success! It was clear from the beginning that Carvana wanted something unique and interactive. The Carvana team had the idea of having space on one of the trailers for bystanders to write on. The side of the trailer says “I’d like to experience_______” multiple times with lines for people to write down their answers. The Prisma team wrapped the trailer with a gloss finish and added a matte-laminate overlay to the chalkboard area, allowing individuals to write down their answers with chalkboard markers. Now that’s innovation!
Setting Up for Success
Before Prisma could dive into wrapping this fleet of vehicles, we first had to ensure all details were in order. This project had very tight deadlines with limited access to the Carvana vehicles, which our team accommodated without any issues. Prisma did multiple color tests before doing any printing to ensure accuracy and brand consistency. Additionally, Prisma provided rough templates of item sizes to lay out and as the vehicles arrived, we quickly measured and adjusted the graphics to the correct size. Adapting to unique circumstances and conducting tests like these help us guarantee quality to our clients and ensure that there are no surprises when our team begins the installation process. With Prisma’s large format printing and installation capabilities, we successfully produced and wrapped all five vehicles with 3M vinyl featuring gloss and matte finishes. The Carvana Team was happy with the finished assets and is excited to run their new campaign.
