All by Design
Romulus handed us a blank canvas, and it was our job to transform it into a space that expressed the heart and soul of the company. Our lead designer on this project, Jay Gau, envisioned larger than life graphics and the Grand Format department at Prisma went to work to make them a reality. During the initial walkthrough, Jay was given information on where they wanted graphics, and discussed color palettes and a couple of key concepts – such as showcasing their mission, and locations. In our next meeting with Romulus, we presented the proofs that superimposed our designs overtop their office space, which gave them a clear idea of how the pieces would work to tie their space together.
State of the Art
A unique feature to their office space is the state wall in the lobby. All 50 states are cut from brushed aluminum, and those highlighted with sheer blue vinyl are where Romulus own locations. To keep everything consistent, the Grand Format team color matched the vinyl to their brand standards – and as locations are added, states can easily be covered to reflect their growing business.
From the Office to the Classroom
During this process our marketing team came up with a way to help bring in some customers, too. We presented an incentive program for Romulus’ IHOP locations to use in partnership with schools across the country. The kid-friendly kit includes a bookmark, die-cut pancake coupon, and also a gift for teachers. They reward students for things like attendance and behavior, and aim to increase business for participating IHOP restaurants. These incentive kits are available to Romulus and franchisees to order from our easy to use marketing resource center, dokshop.
