Today is a special day of remembrance for Americans and our allies throughout the world. It was thirteen years ago this morning that our country stood still as the terrible acts of terror reached our country’s borders. Together, we remember the men, women and children that lost their lives that day. Let us never forget the brave first responders who fought valiantly to save and care for them in their time of need.
Today, let us celebrate our freedom. Let us honor the men and women of our armed forces, police, and fire departments across the globe that are serving to keep us safe. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
