The 2016 College National Football Championship is coming to Glendale. How it happened is a fun story, and Prisma had a hand in it.
The Arizona Host Committee came to Prisma with an idea: Could we make a tiny replica of University of Phoenix Stadium?
We could and we did. Prisma employees took the concept and — in about a week and a half — presented bowl officials with a small box.
The exterior of the box mimicked the exterior of University of Phoenix Stadium with its distinctive sleek lines. From there slid out a 360°-view of the stadium, decorated with panoramic photographs of cheering fans. The final touch: a “field” that pulled out from the base of the box. Prisma covered the front of the official bowl proposal with fake grass, and even included white gridlines.
The stadium replica was a great success. Not only did it impress the selection committee, it caught the eye of the local news. Check out the video below for an up-close view of the winning box. And, come 2016, enjoy the game.
